Eagle Eye Technology built and run the Sony Privilege Movies platform for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Since 2009 Eagle Eye Technology has been working with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to take advantage of its superb catalog of movies in deals with other companies through the use of a Global movie distribution and download platform, which was designed, built and is now supported and run for Sony by Eagle Eye Technology.
The current iteration of this platform is the Sony Privilege Movies platform that is the backbone for a promotion with Sony Mobile, wherein customers buy a Sony Xperia Z1, Z Ultra or Xperia Tablet Z and they can receive a voucher code, which when entered into the Privilege Movies Android Application allows that customer access to download and keep a number of great Sony Movies.
The service is running in a number of countries world wide and helps Sony Mobile distribute movies in countries which do not have the Sony Entertainment Network.
Using its Microsoft PlayReady DRM License and being an official Licensee of Sony feature films Eagle Eye Technology is contracted by Culver Digital and Sony Mobile to run the platform, manage the DRM license distribution and handle first line customer support for the platform so that both Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Sony Mobile can get on with their day to day business whilst we handle the platform.
